I wanted to get this group’s input/feedback on this horn. What do you know about it, how is it, and what is it worth? Thanks so much!

Looks like the main tuning slide was lengthened at some point in time.
It’s 4 valve, but non-compensating yet in the non-compensating layout.
If it’s in good mechanical condition, it’s worth a few hundred dollars, I’d reckon.

Condition of valves, a=440 playability, and intonation tendencies are all unknown when just looking at a picture.. even sonic characteristics - though those are probably fourth in a list of importance

Heck, I’m not even sure if it’s an Eb or a euphonium...
I’m thinking euph.

Question- I’m looking for a “grime gutter” type thing to put under the valves of this horn. I’ve seen them online, but they’re super hard to find in stock, apparently. Does anyone have advice on finding one that would fit this horn…or does anyone have one for sale? TIA for your help.

I don't know if they are still made, but if they are you're going to need to know the diameter of your caps and the distance from end to end of your three valves.
Beyond that, the vendor is going to have to be able to take that information and know how to use it.
