I used to own a 1910 King Eb helicon. Did not have that wrap.

I’m sure it is. The ad mentions lead pipe work. I’m sure it’s been altered. The one I had the lead pipe had rotten off. Mine had to be altered too.

I am assuming it is only three years apart from my original one and assuming it would be similar. The bugle looks exactly the same as mine but mine had a different main tuning slide.

Kind of looks like this was changed. Mine had the very curved short lead pipe which was corroded. Similar to what I have seen on vintage York sousaphones and helicons.
