Just saw that Gary Sienkiewicz will be performing the Vaughan Williams concerto tomorrow, Feb 18 at 7:30 pm with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra in New London, CT. I wish I could attend, but I have relatives visiting from out of town.

Re: Feb 18, Eastern CT Symphony: Gary Sienkiewicz, Vaughan Williams Concerto
off topic (but - at least - a BUMP)
A friend/colleague of the SAME last name (first name: Fred...actually DR. Fred) is a fine trumpet player.
I believe (??) I've asked before, and was told that they are probably only distantly related.
If I was told correctly, that seems odd to me - as the name isn't that common, and they are both from the same region of the country.

best wishes to Mr. S., and with his upcoming performance
