FS: PT-7 6/4 CC tuba
Putting out feelers for my PT-7 Tuba. PM me with any questions. Plays exactly like a PT-6p but bigger. Incredibly vast dark sound.
Small dents and scratches are present. The silver is 100% there.
$9,500 OBO
Located in Chicago, could ship.
Thanks!

Re: FS: PT-7 or trade for F tuba
If you really need an F tuba, you could buy mine and still have the money left to keep your big horn. I think it fits what you are looking for in a vintage sounding horn (IE not sounding like a small CC).

Beautiful tuba!
I always liked the piston B&S slide layout for the left hand. 1, 3 and 4 all right there for easy manipulation if needed.

Re: FS: PT-7 or trade for F tuba
Tuning characteristics differ from all the other B&S factory 6/4 tubas (all the rest use the same bugle, I'm fairly certain).
I had one for a while, and came to realize that (once tuning strategies were wigged out) they're actually easier to play in tune than all the rest.

Hey, is this still available? I haven’t been on this forum very long and it won’t let me send messages.
Re: FS: PT-7 6/4 CC tuba
Are you still selling this horn? I'd be very interested in trying it out. Feel free to send me an email at hart.spencer99@gmail.com
Thanks,
Spencer
