Choosing where to buy Lidl 701 from question

Post by Lebari »

Has anyone bought a tuba from either FMB Direkt or Stoelzel Music both will ship internationally to me but their shipping quotes vary by €300! I will need to decide who to go with as I am hoping to get one of the shipping quotes down. Any feedback on either company and your experience would be great thanks.

Where are you located?

If in the US, then buy from Lee Stofer!

$300 for international tuba shipping is actually very reasonable. For the average person to ship a tuba in the United States is $200-300, and international can be $1,000!!

Shipping FROM the United States to other countries is very expensive.

Shipping TO the United States from other countries is much more reasonable.

I actually read and tried (??) to pay attention to sentence structure. I believe they said that the shipping quotes VARIED by 300 euros, and NOT that they were ONLY 300 Euros.

I'm guilty of only reading words and not sentences, but it doesn't usually prove to be a very good shortcut for gleaning information.

To their location, they haven't posted very much, but I it was pretty easy to see that they are in Australia - based on the few that they have submitted in the past.

Thanks, I’ve been in touch with Lee he doesn’t have the 701 atm, if I was in the US he’d be my first choice!

Thanks, to clarify: shipping quoted from one company is est. €950 - €1000, the other about €723 to the airport.
