for you band directors or jazzers.

I accepted this as a school trade-in, but later found that the female top-threads on the pistons were boogered out.
Yeah...I could have plugged and re-tapped, but I found someone to sell me another complete set of NOT-boogered pistons :smilie8:  , and now I'm ready to sell it.

NOT YET DONE:
- I would like to reinforce the case corners a little bit (the case is NOT "trashed"), remove a few more small dents, pass the buffing wheel over the brown (missing lacquer/tarnished) areas, and shoot some lacquer on the touched-up areas...so it will appear "generally shiny" from a galloping horse.

This is a thick-wall instrument, and I had to work pretty hard (unlike most made today) to remove what dents and creases where there. ALL of the original metal is still on the instrument.

I'm hoping that I have a new 6-1/2AL to put with it...probably the best match to avoid a tubby sound.

If no band directors, jazzers, or combination-of-both are interested at $550 + shipping (no dents and super-econo shine-up and spray-over), I'll just find a place for it on the "wall-o'-tubas here, and I'll have another Oktoberfest gimmick-horn.

I can accept your credit card, and can have our c.c. processor email you a secure link to pay.

It will take a few days for me to get around going over this thing one last time (per above) and getting it packed/shipped.

Given the choice, I would choose to ship it FedExGround.

Here's a nice cheap one with - reportedly - two working valves and one frozen one.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/266409571820

WERE IT THAT I NEEDED ONE, I would RISK buying this one with the frozen piston, as - usually - if a valve is all the way down in the casing - the problem isn't unsolvable/unrepairable...' your decision, obviously...

I have one that is currently in "slightly squashed" status that is in line to be "unsquashed," and will be available for significantly less than the eBay link above once it is unsquashed. (And no, I am not the one doing the unsquashing... I think that would devalue it even more!) It is a silver plated Bach marching baritone. :tuba:
