I’m going into my freshman year of college but LSU, as big of a school as it is, doesn’t have one I can use. My budget is around 6k ish. Silver is preferred and I’m also willing to drive a long ways. Let me know!

There's a Miraphone 188 for sale on this site. You might call that 5/4, or maybe just stout 4/4, but it's not silver and you might not want to drive to Los Angeles.
I have a nice C tuba I should sell, but it's definitely smaller than 5/4 and only has 4 valves.
