Hello! I have recently bought a 1945 silver King 1250 Sousaphone that is in shambles. The plan is to fix it up as close to original as it can be done. At the moment it is missing valves 2&3, all top caps and buttons, one of the bottom caps is a newer lacquered one so I'd like to replace it with a silver one that matches the other two, and the two braces that attach from the third slide to the outer bow are conns and I'd like to get king ones. Where would be the best place to source all of these? I have access to use a friends repair shop, and he can get me some things from allied, but just looking for cheaper options.

Also, the inside of the bell is gold wash but it is VERY dirty, what's the best way to clean this? I dipped it in the chem bath for a short time and it helped but I don't to leave it in too long if the gold wash will be stripped off?

Here’s the pictures, also pictured is a Holton bell that came with the king, I’m willing to sell it, so if you’re interested let me know! I’ll probably clean it up first.

When you post pictures, I might have some caps available and will check for you.

Also, I don't mind getting some parts in lacquer or raw brass and then sending them off to be plated, but the neck I have will already need to be silver plated, and I'd rather not spend a whole lot on shipping things off and having them all plated. I also need a pair of bits(preferably the older style but either is fine), three bell screws, and the neck screw.

If you'd consider selling it as is, I'd likely be interested.
