Wanted: Los Angeles Olds tenor or bass trombones

Anybody out there with an F. E. Olds tenor or bass trombone made in Los Angeles?
The original Olds company was based in Los Angeles from around 1899 until 1956 (two different street addresses, but both in LA), and thereafter in Fullerton until 1979. A Fullerton Olds is considered an "original" Olds, though, according to some, not as desirable as a Los Angeles Olds. I toured the Los Angeles factory in 1950 and felt it was a first class operation. Its instruments, and Benge, were attracting considerable attention from LA/Hollywood studio musicians at that time.

Thanks, Hal. San Mateo is only 30 miles from my Berkeley home----across the bridge
and down the Peninsula. -Ace

I've got a 1954 L.A. Olds Recording, not all dented up. No lacquer. Great player. Nice sharp engraving.

Although looking at that CL collection, the 32h is the find. $200? Those play like the dickens if you can get past the narrow slide. I had mine widened, and it's a great horn to play.
