Update: I believe that I have found one!

Hi all!
I’m looking to buy a Firebird, Elektra, belcanto, PT15, MW45SLZ or something similar. I would like 6 valves, but I won’t turn down 5. My absolute max is 8k but would prefer to spend less. Please no Eastman, Zo, Wessex, or Mack. I have nothing against those brands it’s just not what I’m looking for.

I’m in Knoxville, TN and am willing to drive a couple hours in any direction for a meet up!

If you don’t find something contemporary, I’m likely to have a first version Miraphone 181 (the version that looks uncannily like a 5V PT-10) for sale pretty soon. Maybe not quite what you’re looking for, but in great condition and well below your price limit.

I have a PT-10 I'm about to list for sale. It's the anniversary model, which I think just has gold brass and yellow brass to make it look cool, and maybe better rotary valves than they had previously? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I love the horn, to be completely honest, I just don't have much of a use for it these days. I bought it new around 2009.
