Happy Tuba Tuesday. Today, the Museum features a Cerveny, recording, BB flat tuba, 4 rotary, ca.1930.

Bell Diameter 23.5”, Bore Size .820, Height 39.75”

Comments:

“BODY BY / V.F. CERVENY & FILS / KONIGGRATZ / U.S. AGENTS / VITK & ELSNIC (?) / CHICAGO, ILLINOIS” on bell. This is a custom bell that was later added to the instrument. “UCSBC MUS-125-5723” on rim of bell. on body: UCSBC MUS-125-5723
