My 2900, which was stolen over a decade ago, was never recovered.
I still have the hard case, and someone's offered to buy it. I have no idea what a decent sale price would be, as I can't find options to purchase one separately.
Anybody have any insight to offer?

These days if anyone will give you any money for a hard case, take it and run.
Maybe $100?

Yeah, I was thinking that.
Also, they're in ND, and I'm in FL. So probably that plus shipping costs.

What's the condition? I would say that the bigger it is the less it's worth and the more tattered it is the less it's worth.

Near perfect condition. I think there's a scratch in it but that's it I put the horn in a gig bag as soon as I got it, and the case went into storage.

Most of the cost Shipping is based on size these days if I'm not mistaken weight might have a little to do with it, just to make sure it's not overweight, but what I saying is it's going to cost as much to ship it as shipping a euphonium.
That might be $200 if you put it in a box with a little bubble wrap.

That could well be true, and it really should be sold locally or brought to you by someone who's passing through where you live and heading to where a buyer lives.

To be honest, I'd never thought of a euphonium player living in ND of all places!

I think I know who you are referring to.

Well, it IS a small world, when we're talking euphers.

Especially the ones who attempt to play Eb Bass. :)

I don't believe @Doc would mind me talking about this:
He has no Hispanic ancestry, but - simply being down there near the Texas border for decades - his speech subtly carries the inflections of a generic-American + Hispanic accent. People from here ask where I'm from (as my parents came here from Iowa and Kansas), but people from elsewhere immediately hear that I'm a southerner.
My daughter has lived up north long enough that she no longer says "fixin' to" and says "about to".
She spent quite a bit of time - in the past - with a very close friend of European/South American ancestry...and - for a while - my daughter's voice carried a faint reflection of that friend's voice.
We're all a blend (in all ways) of where we came from and where we are.

If I could become a Canadian citizen and renounce my US citizenship, I would only owe about $31,000 (converted from CAD to USD) in national debt, which is less than a third of what I currently owe as an American citizen.

As a Kentuckian living in New England, nobody understands me when I say "Louisville" the first time without clearly enunciating.
If you're from the area, you know it's a guttural approximation of "Luh-vuhll."
If you're not, you can at least get close with "Looey-ville"

I knew this one, after being stuck with a bunch of grad students from Louisville for like 3 months on a tour!
I started my tour of Chicago last year in Lancaster. There, it's not LAN-ca-ster. It's more like LAIN-cuh-ster. If I remember right.
I'm from near Melbourne, FL. It's the nearest known city, then Orlando. I've always pronounced it MEL-burn. Everyone outside the Space Coast of Florida seems to pronounce it MEL-born.
