That looks spectacular. Who did the work?

I’ve got a 30K in satin silver - so not here as I buyer -just here to say these are really nice helicons. Big glorious tuba sound - lovely low and high range with good false tones and easy to play soft or fill the room loud. Even with the big bell - I find it well balanced and easy to play even for 5 set standing jazz gigs -with no shoulder pain. If I recall it weighs just 16 pounds. On mine at least the only intonation issue would be the typical Conn middle C being a bit flat but 1-3 makes it spot on. The body was used for the 14k Sousaphone.

The cat is ready to pose like Nipper in the Victor phonograph emblems.

Easily worth that. A regular 14k sousaphone in the same condition would sell for more than that. Maybe even thousands more, particularly if a school sale.
If I'm not mistaken, I'm seeing some upper return slides, and not just soldered in bows.
