I have one of these and unfortunately (due to it’s inconvenient shape) it plays great, much better than the detachable bell version, and it’s lighter as well.
So I need a gig bag for it. Anyone know of anyone making custom bags like this? I’ve already accepted that I’m going to have to pay more for the bag than the horn.
Thanks for any ideas

You can zip the large (albeit inelegant) ProTec bag around that assembled instrument.
I have a 3+1 compensating Besson E-flat recording bass (sort of a rare bird) that's c. 65 years old.
I wrap a quilt around it, seat-belt it in, and carry it (LOL...sans quilt) from the car into the venue (when using that particular instrument).

Messina Covers HAS made one piece bell front bags. Last I heard they’d had enough of it because of the work involved. You might still check in with them.
I have a bell front 4/4 BBb that I’d like to have a case for (the case I had sort of fell apart, but saved the tuba). I hope you’ll share if you score a bag.

My gig bag for my fixed bell King 1240 was made by Messina Covers. I believe it might have been the very first one they had ever made. David Messina did a fantastic job and it will be the last gig bag that horn will ever need. It does not hurt to ask

I'm mildly embarrassed how long it took me to realize you were talking about a fixed recording bell, not upright...
But of course you are, or it wouldn't be an interesting question.
I will see if i have any useful suggestions...
