"Bessons" (Indian counterfeit)

I've only ever seen the "Bessons" marque on dubious pocket cornets, but here it is on a baritone. These are Indian and by all accounts not very well made.

I like the added (what appear to be…) cork finger button pads.

Just looking for something nice to say about what is probably a disappointing baritone shaped object!

Looks like someone also extended the main and first valve slides, so maybe this is a more playable example? For only £50 or whatever bidding gets up to, someone can find out!

I've always suspected that the Indian people migrated there from the southern U.S. - as we refer to businesses in the same way:
"Kroger's", "Aldi's", "Nordstrom's", etc...
