New Cronkhite gig bags

Post by bisontuba »

Hi-
Just received a new Cronkhite tuba gig bag.
Yes, it was a 3 month wait, BUT the quality is absolutely as good as ever. Well worth the wait. Best made bags out there...period! :bow2:

I agree. The green one I got for my Willson F is spectacular. I love that they changed the interior lining to black to prevent oil stains showing easily.

No concerns about build or material quality whatsoever. However, they appear to be making them from 7-8 templates at this point so the fit isn't as perfect as when Glenn was making them himself.

I've made a sort of a big deal out of moving over to hard cases on this website, but all of my California made bags are hanging up overhead on a thing I made to store them outside and off to one side of my walk-in closet in my bathroom suite. I could use some money right now, but I ain't selling 'em. If I need to use bags again, I want the best ones, and if I sell these I won't be able to afford to buy them back.
