I need some tubing: 18.5 and 19.5mm ID (19.5/20.5mm OD) in various lengths. Any public sources?

Just updated my post, sorry about that. 18.5 and 19.5mm ID / add a millimeter or so for OD.

Oddly enough, places like McMaster-Carr can't be bothered to carry larger thin-walled brass tubing.

For half sizes and other unusual bores, I use draw rings to change the pipe diameter. I can do this accurately enough to make tuning slides which fit well. https://www.ferreestoolsinc.com/product ... omqQ7BCegw

Besides rotors, rotor assemblies with linkage, and piston clusters, doesn't Meinlschmidt have tubing on hand?

The set I bought from them about 30 years ago goes up to 25.65mm, so more than an inch. Good investment: you can draw leadpipes and smaller conical pipes, as well as de-ovalize tubes that folks have mandhandled.

I own a nice set of shrink rinks as well (with one handle which accommodates each of the rings), but would only consider them useful for making slide tubing if I had some flawless-surfaced and absolutely straight cylindrical steel mandrels with which I could place inside slightly-too-large and well-annealed brass tubing.

It would still be a bit strenuous, and I could imagine bumps (causing imperfections) due to my human hand growing weary running one of my rings (no matter how well-lubricated the outside of the brass tube) down a tube over a mandrel.

...I'd just as soon buy the tubes...and - somehow (looking through my crap, being an old guy who has saved up a good bit of leftover material) I always seem to have what I need.

I contacted my local repair shop and they said they can order the tubing for me if Allied stocks it, but they are too swamped to research the part number for me. (?)

Well, okay. I can't view the Allied catalog since I'm just a random doofus and not a repair shop -- can anyone confirm if Allied stocks 19.5mm and 20.5mm ID (20.5mm/21.5mm OD) brass tubing and provide a part number? I need about a foot of the 19.5 and two feet of the 20.5.

Appreciate any info.

And I certainly don't trust myself to make a footlong slide extension for my Alex with draw rings and have it turn out straight! But I figure I can make do with some tubing of the correct size, and I have plenty of adjustable braces here.

The Allied place does not have half millimeter graduated telescoping tubing in stock.

I still have to strongly suspect that MS in Germany would have it, because they don't just build valves; they also sell valve sections.

I have no idea why I’m looking at eBay now. I don’t even have an id. This seller says they’re selling some tuba tubing…

Thanks all. A friend in Germany is helping me out with some nickel-silver and brass tubing of the size I need.
