Does anyone here have experience with vinyl wrapping a brass instrument or what's best to to do for aesthetic reason

I couldn't imagine being able to effectively negotiate all the shapes...UNLESS you ONLY decided to wrap the bell...
...ONLY my imagination (absolutely no experience) tells me that I'd best be prepared to pull out the big-boy credit card...
What about...
Having an artsy friend take their time (weeks...?? months...??) and PAINT some cool stuff on it...
EVEN MORE THAN with silver plating, be prepared to REALLY be disappointed (either with a wrap or painted art) when have an accident and damage the instrument.

Or maybe try Hydro dipping?

Hydro-dipping: the absolute perfect thing to dress up your plastic tuba! Just go ALL the way!

I remember someone posting about using vinyl wrapping on a Conn 20J-type tuba. I can't remember if it was here or on Facebook, but I do remember seeing it done. Sorry for the rather unhelpful reply...

I've thought just a little bit more about this (not much, because I'm not interested in doing it).
I believe the way to do it would be to remove the bell from the instrument, make it completely detachable (like the bells on those crappy J-brand 3/4 tubas), wrap it, and then install it (via it's newly-added detachable braces).
I don't believe that the bell insertion into the bottom bow would need to be a "remove-over-and-over" expensive sleeve, but (simply) contact cement the bottom of the bell into the bottom bow's connection ring.
