10 tubas?

I teach at two small private schools, neither has a band budget, so I've collected a variety of instruments over the years for the kids to use in case they can't afford their own. (These are not the "rich kid" kind of private schools.) Long story short, I've got more tubas than I need - or maybe not ...

Nope, Town Center in Virginia Beach ...

these look like a good fit

But it's such a cool old tuba, I think I'll go through with the project anyway, and the 2-20 valve section is almost a ...

Re: I'm glad no one bought my early 70s Fender Jazz bass

Thanks for the kind words Joe! I have to admit, the reason I never invested in one of these EUBs (or the real thing) before is that I wasn't confident I would be able to devote the necessary time to getting good enough at it, when I've already got a couple of instruments I could get a lot better at ...

Re: I'm glad no one bought my early 70s Fender Jazz bass

That bass is a beaut, Bloke! Never been a Fender guy myself, nor could I ever get the tone I wanted from any of the Ibanez basses I've owned. Go figure. Settled on this "Douglas" from Rondo Music almost 20 years ago (all other 6 strings are 35" scale, which I just can't do) replaced the stock radio ...
