Re: Finale is Dead - You Must Switch to Dorico

I think what people are missing out of ignorance of Wade's situation is the basically impossible amount of NON-PAID work he will have to do because of the way MM pulled this off. MM also clearly has no concept of this and apparently views their program as a sophisticated kids' toy or something a ...

I assume the software checks in with a server occasionally (or at install time at least) with a server to validate the licensing? unfortunately it is hard to own a piece of software these days, even if you paid a lot of money for it  It can always happen that a software company goes out of ...

This type of stuff is also used on watch strap edges
but I prefer properly tanned and colored leather (all the way through, so you its not that blue/white color), no need to color the edge

Sounds like a good idea!
Once I am used to the new instrument and I learned to read concert pitch parts (I decided to finally learn to read 'proper' tuba sheet music instead of transposed), sure, why not?

I'm jealous of your arion. I've been looking for a pre 1990 Arion for many many years and have never seen one for sale. It's owned by one of the bands I play in, it was purchased in the early 80's, but I am not sure if it was new then. It does need some work. The main tuning slide is out of ...

New tuba day! Kaiser time

Been looking for a german style tuba for a while now and this one popped up on Tubaforum.de last week and I was interested right away, sent a message and this morning I cruised 700km/434mi (probably not that much for you that are used to longer distances, but I am from a tiny country :eyes: ) on the ...

" It is non-allergenic; its other advantages include antimycotic and weak antimicrobial (especially after abrasion) attributes, and resistance to tarnishing. It has been studied for its antimicrobial hospital applications. "

Meinlschmidt has a shower sprayer adapter to rinse out instruments. https://www.jm-gmbh.de/en/hydro-jet-m1/ https://www.jm-gmbh.de/wp-content/uploads/Hydro-Jet-M1-Flyer-EN.pdf I have one of these.
