That's fine. Of course it's your tuba.
The smaller Fafner/2265 bell (or 2165 bell made smaller via that tone ring thing) projects more for the same player effort...ie. requires less work on the player's part.

Remember when I said I probably wouldn't get a 6450 bell to complete this tuba's transformation into a 6450?

Well... :laugh:

I ordered one. Expensive, but as I thought it over, if I'm doing this, I want to take it all the way.

90-120 day estimated delivery (like with everything else).

Even with that, I'm STILL under current Tuba Showroom 6450 pricing.

I believe it only comes in silver. Two-toned tuba, here I come!

This reminds of replacing a computer 1.component at a time. Before long everything is new except the case.
