Question for Götz Supersac owners

I am eyeing an attractively-priced Supersac with the following dimensions:

Fits:
B&S GR51
Miraphone 186-4U, 187-4U
Yamaha YBB201, YBB321
... also fits other Upright tubas with
Max Bell of 17.75" & Max Tuba Length of 40"

I have an Alexander 163 that measures in at just about 41" inches tall.

Is the material elastic enough, or the cushion giving enough, that the Alex could squeeze in? I'm thinking especially since it's a top-loader, it might work.

It's currently being transported in a Tuxedo bag that was designed for (I'm pretty sure) a YBB-321, because the hinge for the bell lid is on the wrong side. But it closes fine and does the job.

yeah...I gots a supersac, and - yeah - every once in a while, it could use more padding.

I find them to be NOT elastic at all. In fact, they seem to be - in my experience - quite unforgiving. Extremely well made (all mine were custom orders).

All the ones I've owned are "triple padded" which seems to a) reduce the interior dimensions slightly; b) make for a nice, firm, dense shell; and c) add a good stiffness to the bag which makes loading it quite easy. The standard double padding feels a bit thin to me. Cronkhite is my go-to for custom bags in leather, Götz is my go-to preference for anything else.
