BBb piston valve tuba 4v, Texas <$2000

I’m sure that this is probably not feasible for the price, but I’d really like a nice BBb tuba with 4 piston valves. I’d like to not need to put one into a shop, but I’m okay with minor damage. I apologize if I did not create this post properly; this is my first time making a post or really using this forum. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Perhaps a detachable bell King 1241. Perhaps with a recording bell, then buy an upright bell when one comes along?

For a BBb piston valve tuba with 4 valves under $2000, it’s a tough find since those usually run higher, especially new ones. You might want to check used instruments or local music shops—sometimes people sell decent ones with minor wear that just need a quick tune-up. Also, keep an eye on online marketplaces like Reverb or eBay; occasionally good deals pop up there

I see stuff pop up on craigslist especially near larger urban areas (DFW, Austin, Houston). You can also check in with Denton Big Brass to see if they can help you find something. Reverb and Facebook Marketplace are other places to look.
