Looking for E flat tuba

Post by BlueRidgeTeacher »

I have a student looking for an E flat tuba. Either compensating or non compensating 4 valves. $1500. He’s an older gentleman who started teaching himself on a beautiful old Henry Distin E flat. He’d like to move up to 4 valves.

DM me if you have something. :tuba:

Thanks!

Will

As an owner of a Distin, I'd love to see pics of this horn...

And while i am too lazy to learn (or at least adopt) alternate fingerings involving a 4th valve, at least noncompensating (i learned on BBb so a (3+1) comp eb to me is just indecisive. almost as indecisive as i am.

Anyway 1. Yes, Distins are cool. 2. I 2nd request for pictures, but understand if the Distin is demure an dprefers not to be ogled by strangers. 3. Where is said student at, in case we have some way of helping with a 4th eb valve.

Guessing maybe blueridge might mean Kentucky? Although somehow i think that it is actually grass there which is blue?
