Reichel (Schuster?) Markneukirchen 4v F tuba $1,200 (Bakersfield, CA/FB)

Comes with a spare rotor to add to make it a 5 valver. I owned an Eb like this that was marked Heinel but was actually made by Schuster in Markneukirchen. I wonder if this one is also a Schuster horn. Nickel-silver bell bead and the overall shape/size and design elements make me think yes.

Here’s my old one with the same low-slung valve section:

Not exceptionally well. It was fun, but it was a tuba I kept at my folks' house in KY to play at the brass band festival when I come back in town over the summer (https://gabbf.org/). It was a tiny Eb tuba with a 13" bell and a really small bore, like .610" or something, and intonation was rough. Bb in the staff had to be played fourth valve, really sharp third partial. I traded it to Norm for a 3v King BBb frankenhorn he made which suits my needs a lot better.
