Dear Tuba-type folk,
I just recently found this site (looked on the old 'Net and realized everything had been set ablaze... hadn't been on TubeNet since mid-late 2019... didn't see bloke anywhere so I knew something was up) and thought I'd give this a try.
Unfortunately my horns have long been sold and now my eldest, Joseph (5 yr old) is showing interest in playing a brass instrument (woohoo!). I'm looking for something half-decent, maybe an old school horn, would prefer a euphonium or small tuba (maybe baritone?) and would like to keep this first attempt around the $250 mark, $500 absolute tops, if at all possible.
I know this is a big ask and probably spitting in the dark, but thought I'd give it a try.
Still getting used to being on the forum and email is probably better form of getting ahold of me in any meaningful time of turnaround.

Thanks all, and glad to see (most) of the old gang is still alive and well.
Best,
Austin

Still looking? I have a Conn 20I for sale in decent playing condition - $300 shipped. If he likes it you could put a couple hundred more dollars into it and have a great euph until he gets to high school age or so. Email me - [my username]{at}gmail.com
