delta variant

Post by bloke »

Everyone knows that you must watch out 😳 for the delta variant, and by this I mean that you go to the four-chord on the second measure, back to the one-chord on the third measure, and then to the four-chord - again (per usual) - on the fifth measure.

Between the Delta, Supremes and Global Incineration I’m just going to stay home and cry. :smilie6:

After I cut the grass, pull weeds, replenish my beer supply and make dinner. :smilie2:

Many of those who stayed home… I’m just fine with them having done that.

No traffic, private restroom at the office…

I’d still like my reparations from the CCP for say 6 trillion + punitive damages??

A boy can dream…

Once hyperinflation really kicks into gear, that will equal about 20 cents.

Isn’t it?

I have a really talented and really funny friend who is a multi woodwind player, and (when call to play such) a really fine jazz and blues musician - as well as a really great bagpiper and uilleann pipes player. You can call him to play first clarinet and a Brahms Symphony or tenor sax in a band called the “Hound Dawgz”.
I believe I’ve known him for about 50 years. As early as 45 years ago, he had this hilarious routine where he would pull his glasses down on his nose, choke up his tone of voice to sound like some sort of geek/nerd from the bowels of music academia, and then begin to profess on “the blues musics of the Delta region...”
I realize that this is a “you had to be there“ type of thing, but nevertheless, very funny.

I am currently in Delta County, Michigan. Beautiful place and great people.

This Delta is extremely pleasant, and I'm just fine if people want to avoid it, except to quietly spend their vacation dollars here on beaches and campfires.

From the Delta by William Grant Still is a great piece of music, I recall it being fun to play. Not sure if one of the movements is a theme and variations in form, but the original melody does have variants throughout.

"My sister has two-berculosis, my sister has only one lung. She spits out her blood in a bucket. Then dries it and chews it for gum!!"
