FS: Besson 782 EEb Tuba

Post by ParLawGod »

New baby clearance sale!!! Inventory must be slashed!!! :( :)

Besson 782 EEb tuba
International series
.681 bore, 19" bell
3+1 compensating
Weight is the same as the 982 Sovereign (20 pounds, 8 ounces)
Comes with a case and a 5L mouthpiece
Horn has never left the house and is MINT

I bought this horn from an active duty Army guy who only played it a handful of times and decided not to keep it. I've also only used it a handful of times, so NEW condition. No dents, scratches, etc. It's shameful for it to sit in my basement and not be played :) Plays wonderfully (from a trombonist's perspective, HA!), not even sure if the valves are broken in yet (lol). Threads on the fourth valve are a little tricky though.

New the horn sells for $4000 plus tax and shipping. I would like to get $2800 OBO for it (open to offers, but not looking to do trades). My preference is not to ship, though I am open to driving a reasonable distance to meet someone.

If interested in trying it out just let me know.

Offering here first before I post it in Facebook groups.

Thanks! She'll be arriving in September sometime, so this sale is part of my "nesting."
