Four Valve Contra

Post by LargeTuba »

Hello, I’d love to buy a four valve contra. I think the most popular one is made by DEG/Wilson.

Full disclosure, I only want these to steal the valves from. I have something that I want to install said valves on. So if you just have the valves that would also totally work.

Id like to spend $500.

Thanks

I’m in NW Indiana/Chicagoland

There are a couple of Dynasty M875 on the Bay. The bore is .720ish on 1-3 but I think #4 is a bit larger.

Just checked, only one left, a 3 valve. Sorry. Might be worth checking with the seller as this one is marked #4 so the first three might have ended without selling?

I bought one, used the bell for something and sold the rest to a guy who wanted the valve set for a Frankenstein tuba (based on a Martin Mammoth).

The valve ports are in “interesting” spots...
