SOLD: Cerveny/Rott 6/4 Cc tuba (NEW PRICE!)
The horn was bought new, and has been used for two years in a concert band, and has no significant wear or tear, apart for some minor dings. Valves has been overhauled by technician and some dents in the main bow repaired.
The horn is produced by Cerveny, but sold under the brand name Rott. The similar Cerveny model would be CCB 696. It is easy playing with a huge sound, but as it turned out - not the right instrument for me. (I bought a 4/4 Hirsbrunner clone.) 4 rotor valves, but an extra 5th can be added. Intonation is not bad, MTS is cut 20 mm to get the horn in tune and the 1st valve slide is pullable and ventilated.
Included in the price is the original case and also a Gard gigbag, which is nice for transporting the horn to and from venues.
The horn is in Norway, but potential buyers from other parts of the world are welcome. Shipping arrangements can be made, even in a pandemic world.
