Does anyone know the whereabouts of this beast now? I would certainly be interested in knowing where it ended up, and more about it. After hearing it played on a number of recordings, I think I might enjoy acquiring it :hearteyes:

It used to belong to Dale Hale. According to the tuba page on his website, he sold his collection. Dale lists an email address on his tuba page you can use to contact him if you want more information. He has a different email address on his bio page, so you might try that if the one on the tuba page doesn't work.

Last time I talked to him, he still have the two Lyon and Healys.

His Discogs page is impressive, especially given that it's probably a small fraction of his output. Mr. Hale has a brief bio on his site as well.
