Tuning bits on 80J series Conn Recording Bell Tuba
I asked this question in another post, but I didn’t receive a direct answer. The lead pipe on my 82J? Conn ( it has 80J stamped on the body side bell tenion, but it is 4 front action valves.), is so close to the bell section it makes it difficult to read the music. Does anyone have experience with extending their lead pipes? I am going to try Conn tuning bits first to see how it works.
