7/8 BBb Tuba

Post by MShores »

I had an Olds 099-4 years ago that I sold. Now I find myself wanting/needing a similar size 4 piston valve BBb tuba. I would really like something that hasn’t been worn out over the years or just barely survived a middle school band room. However, it seems the newer options that don’t break the bank are all Yamaha 621 sized. Additionally, the King 2341 style tubas are slightly bigger than I’m looking for, both physically and financially. Is there a viable piston BBb tuba in this size out there that I’m overlooking?

There is a 4J or 5J that is for sale near-ish me for $1500 and the ad has been up for quite a while.
