Conn/Martin Wilk Eb 5-valve

Post by Bflatbass »

Asking $7,000. Horn is in SE Michigan and can be play tested in my home studio. Will ship domestically at buyer's expense.

Typical solid, quality build by Martin Wilk. Vintage Conn bell and body in raw brass. MAW valves. Detachable leadpipe and valveset.
Comes with a new Protec Platinum (never used) gig bag.

I didn't plan on selling this horn, but have been faced with a significant, unexpected expense and I play Eb less than my other horns.
Someone will enjoy this very much.

Please email me at r4ragtimeband@gmail.com

Is that a Conn "Monster" Eb?

No. This is a smaller Eb. I use it much like an F tuba.

Do you have any dimensions? Or another tuba to place it next to for a photo? I'm not in the market, sorry, just really curious. Thanks!

To my eye, this looks like the elusive Pt-22. Valveset looks very PT-ish to me. I’ll bet this is a really nice tuba. I wish I could justify it.

Here's a photo of the Eb next to my B&S GR55 BBb 5/4 and Martin/Buescher/Wilk BBb 6/4.

That E flat tuba looks familiar to me. I wonder if it ever sold.
