Re: Tuba Chair
Somehow I doubt it. Not sure what person would actually use that for, because for home use you could just be using a stand.
I'm still patting myself on the back for my variable-thickness pad that weighs nothing and works no matter shat the chair.

Re: Tuba Chair
If I'm going to do that to a chair, I hope it's a plastic one and not this one with fabric and foam...

Admittedly, it caught my interest until I saw the price.

If only you hadn't retired, you could've had one of your company's tractor cabs outfitted with that contraption...Schlepporello wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 4:10 pm Admittedly, it caught my interest until I saw the price.

Re: Tuba Chair
The problem would be that they would expect me to use it. That having been said, it has been a while since I've seen the CSO York tuba in use, but maybe it still is occasionally.

Re: Tuba Chair
I modified a K&M keyboard stool (I think that's what it is) to make one of these. I used the built in slot for adding a back rest but had it come out the front instead. It lives at home in the tuba room. I think the only time I'd even consider taking it out is if I were doing some kind of long run pit gig.

Am I the only one who's noticed it no one has used that phrase since that mousy old man in the white lab coat used it over and over again to mean "I'm being paid a ginormous salary to intentionally make you sick coming and going while lying to you about everything"?
I wonder if y'all would carry it around in a hard case or a bag.
