The new Eastman EBF 863 Piston F-Tuba in a short Soundcheck at the Eastman Tuba Euphonium Academy at Oklahoma State University in 2024.
In my opinion a wonderful new F tuba. It can be played well in all registers. It has the lightness of a piston tuba but the sound of a rotary valve tuba. The intonation can be controlled very nicely and is easy to handle.
It is still being further developed and certainly has a few little things that need to be improved here and there. But this has already been done and the revised model will soon be available!
