This type of stuff is also used on watch strap edges
but I prefer properly tanned and colored leather (all the way through, so you its not that blue/white color), no need to color the edge

Did you have the Traub experience? At Great Lakes and Cinclantflt, there was a strange tenor player. Got dinged regularly for shoes and his knots.

No, I wasn't in the band - I went the submariner route. I put my horn down for 6 years while I was in.
