That is not a tuba. According to the link you posted it is a RCA Victor French Horn.

Yes, Herman Conrad.

I’ve never seen an example of that model in person, or in any catalog. There is absolutely no question it’s a Holton.

Of course there's no question that its a Holton. Because I said it was. :laugh:


Actually I think I knew because I'd seen the image before in connection with something saying that he was working with the Holton company at the time. Also, the big ferrules are Holton as are the feet on the braces.

No, I haven't seen one of those in the flesh either, but I sure would like to.
