I am selling my Meinl Weston Ursus CC, it is located in the Chicago area, but I would be willing to travel a couple hours for serious buyers. Local pickup is preferred, but would ship and buyers expense.
This horn is truly a wonderful playing horn. Easily the best 4/4 CC tuba I have ever played. The wide bows help the horn punch above its weight class in terms of sound and projection. Tuning is very predictable and easy to manage. I’ve used the horn in bands and small ensembles.
The reason I am selling the horn is due to my own personal health issues. I can no longer afford to keep as many horns as I have.
The horn comes with all of the bits for the leadpipe and a gig bag. For some reason, my valves did not come vented from the factory. I’ve played multiple examples of this born and it does not seem to have any impact on how the horn plays. Feel free to message me here or email at atstevens84 at gmail dot com
