Heh. When you wrote what you did, Spring Branch floated into my head. I went to Lee, and the Houston schools—even the more well-to-do schools north and west—were always envious of the much better band funding in Spring Branch. I drive up Chimney Rock from where I grew up and find myself at Memorial Drive in about five minutes—so close and yet so far :)
