After 60 years, I have decided to retire from playing and am selling off my horns. Please also check out my listings for my Miraphone 291 Bruckner CC tuba, Eastman 853S Eb tuba and Getzen 1062FD bassbone. I purchased my silver plated Conn 3J CC new in the early 80’s. It has an 18inch bell, very good intonation, is very nimble and has a big sound (for a 0.656 bore). The silver is in great shape except where a tech person got a little over zealous polishing (you can see that circled in a picture). There are a few dings which are no bigger than a dime. It comes with an Altieri gig bag that still looks great. I live in the Chicago area and would be willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet. I'm asking $3600.
