The Noank-Mystic Community Band will be performing tonight at 7pm at the Groton, Connecticut Municipal Building (295 Meridian St, Groton, CT 06340)
Conducted by Mr. Jeff Spenner, assistant conductor, U.S. Coast Guard Band.
The program is:
Commando March, Samuel Barber, arr. Jim Curnow
Irish Tune from County Derry and Ye Banks and Braes O' Bonnie Doon (played without pause), Percy Grainger
Four Freedoms Suite, Bob Calabro (world premiere, based off of the paintings by Norman Rockwell)

This will be Jeff's last concert with the group after a remarkable 3 year tenure that transformed this ensemble into one of the most musically rewarding groups I've been a part of. We will miss him!

I really should check this subforum more often...
And the width of the screen i view this on left doon on its own line, and i was entertain by considering what a granger piece about a frank herbert novel might be like.
