This tuba looks playable as is and really not too much wrong with it. Maybe someone here can buy it, fix it up a bit, and flip it for double to someone else, or to a school, or to keep for yourself.

Did you succumb to the sweet siren song of the cheap 10j in pretty good condition? The 10 minute gap between your post and the sold date means you put up a heroic struggle.

Actually managed to resist it. Don't really have the space or funds to justify another horn at the moment.

Me too in this case, but i failed in the past month or two ago on an even cheaper (and much worse condition with like 5-10 patches on the bell, and slides and valves in the wrong place)
The beggar king would approve of busking with it (hence it was perfect for me.)
