Mostly amused by the rhyme, but it looks like one has a hole in it.

Comes "pre-vented". You have to pay extra for that service now!
If it’s tourist season, why can’t we shoot them?

If only there was a way they could have pre-vented that!windshieldbug wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 9:06 am Comes "pre-vented". You have to pay extra for that service now!

Re: Distin pistons (pistins?)
One of my attic treasures is a Distin silver baritone (which a lot of people would probably call a euphonium) which has three top-action pistons, one side action piston, and is non-compensating with an upright bell. All the pistons/casings have been rebuilt, but the instrument was disassembled for the rebuilding job. Perhaps this winter I will get that thing put back together, nice it up, and offer it for sale, but I really don't want people contacting me about it right now...
...I suppose I shouldn't have even mentioned that I have it, but I almost forgot it was up there until you posted the word Distin" in your thread here.
When I finally managed to get it ready to sell, I will post it here first. They're always seems to be someone here who's willing to buy stuff without me having to advertise in several places on the internet.
As is known by some/several, I'm woefully behind and getting the cool stuff in the attic fixed up and sold.

Re: Distin pistons (pistins?)
As long as the Distin's pistins haven't been piss'd-in.

If an attempt is made, they'll either mist-'em or miss-'em.
After this one, I think I've run out...
