I played one for a few months many (many) years ago, and have fond memories of playing it, and would like to revisit that.

From a quick look, the body is missing the the upper leadpipe and neck; and valve buttons. All three valves appear to be present, though the 3rd stem is broken off. Will referred to the tuba as a 3J from the time he first got it, maybe 15 years ago. That was so ingrained, that I didn't think to question that designation at this point.
